Anastacio Chavez Vences

A memorial service for Anastacio Chavez Vences will be held at 2:30pm, on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Pastor Hector Vasquez will officiate. Following a Mass will be celebrated by Father John Zimmerman at 4:00pm, on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Anastacio died Tuesday, November 2, 2021. He was born in Arcelia, Guerrero, Mexico, the son of the late Ramon Chavez and Columba Vences. He is the widower of Efigenia Madora Flores. Anastacio loved working in his garden and his animals.

Anastacio is survived by his daughters, Ma Mercedes Chavez, Marcelina Chavez and Ines Martinez; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Other than his parents and wife, Anastacio was predeceased by his 2 sons, Telesforo Chavez and Bulmaro Soto.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
