Ann McGuirt Boone

Elizabeth Ann McGuirt Boone passed away on January 28, 2024.   Ann, better known to friends as “Annie”, was the daughter of the late J.B. McGuirt and Annie Blake McGuirt.

Annie attended public school in Camden, Kershaw County Vocational School, and the USC Culinary Institute. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Annie was fond of music and cooking.  She was the owner and operator of Decadent Dish Catering, LLC.  She dedicated her time and efforts to the management of Proctor Hall and was the President of Proctor Hall Board of Directors.

In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her brother, Charles W. McGuirt.

Annie is survived by her husband, Clark Boone; son, Griffin Ellis (September); brother, James B. McGuirt (Sarah); sister-in-law, Emily P. McGuirt; nieces, Monica Heming and Joan Kohn; and nephews, Mike McGuirt, Mitch McGuirt, John McGuirt, and Davis McGuirt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Proctor Hall, 2030 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC.

Memorials may be made to Proctor Hall.
