Annette Watson

Annette Marie Zapke Watson, age 81, died on Thursday, July 3, 2025. She was born in New Hyde Park, NY, the daughter of the late Arthur Zapke, Jr., and Mildred Hawkins Zapke. 

Annette was a former x-ray technician who served in many hospitals in multiple states.  Locally, she was a member of Women of Western Wateree.

Annette is survived by her children, Lauren Ricket (Brent), Michael Burkard, Glenn Burkard; grandchildren, Joshua Waggoner, Jessica Waggoner, Eric Ricket, Zakary Burkard, Blake Burkard, Ian Burkard; brother, Arthur Zapke, III (Angela); sister, Marilyn Lobick (Rob); and special friend, Carol “Sea” Liquori.

Other than her parents, Annette was predeceased by her husband, Terry Watson.
