Bette Jayne Weiler Strope

Bette passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Friday morning with her son Mark and his wife Catherine by her side.

Bette was the sweetest, most loving, and supportive mother a family could ask for. In the early days a homemaker, raising two sons, and afterward, a real estate agent in Fayetteville NY.

Bette loved going to the horse shows and later owning a few racehorses. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her buddies here in Camden. Bette was part of the greatest generation.

Bette is survived by her son Mark and his wife Catherine of Camden, SC; grandchildren, Julie Poklemba (John), of Danbury CT., Peter Strope, of San Francisco, CA., and great-granddaughter, Hannah Poklemba, of Danbury, CT.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is assisting the family.
