Betty Agee Moye

Funeral services for Betty Agee Moye, 94, will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Grace Episcopal Church,1315 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020.  Reverend Pickett Wall will officiate.  Burial will follow at Quaker Cemetery. 

Betty, daughter of the late Earl W. Agee and the late Carrie Ruth Agee, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.  

Betty is survived by her children, Frank Mitchell Moye (Rhonda), and Patricia E. Moye: grandchildren, Andrew M. Moye (Erin), and Julia Moye Stillinger (Uriah); great-grandchild, Penelope Ruth Stillinger; sister, Della M. Traeger, and multiple nieces, and nephews.

Other than her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Frank H. Moye.

Betty’s family settled in Savannah, Georgia where she met Frank, the love of her life.  She worked in accounting for National Gypsum and also taught dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studio.  After marrying, Betty and Frank moved to Atlanta, Ga where she continued working in accounting while he completed his degree in Engineering at Georgia Tech.  They moved to Aiken and then Chattanooga with DuPont before settling in Camden in 1968.  

Betty was the past president of the Kershaw County Republican Women, and a member of Grace Episcopal Church and the Camden Women’s Chorale.  She belonged to multiple bridge clubs and enjoyed singing, sewing, tennis, golf, reading, swimming, fitness, and had a true passion for entertaining.  She was devoted to her family and was adored and admired in her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of one’s choice.
