Billie Ann Schmitz

A visitation for Billie Ann Beers Schmitz, 92, will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel.  Memorials may be made to Heart of Hospice, 7 Technology Circle, Suite 200, Columbia, SC 29203, or a charity of your choice.

Billie Ann was born December 18, 1931, in Staplehurst, NE.  The daughter of Leonard Charles and Edna Arrowsmith Beers.

Billie Ann is survived by her children, Alice M. Renfrow (Richard), of Elgin SC, Karin S. Shaw (Robert), of Elgin, SC, Betty I. Thomas (Mike), of Wellington, FL, and Max F. Willerer (Ronnie), of St. Johns, FL; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and brother, Leonard Charles Beers, Jr., of Titusville, FL.

Other than her parents, Billie Ann was predeceased by a sister, Betty Bailey, and a brother, James B. Beers.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
