Bruce Fields

Graveside funeral services for Rudolph LaBruce (Bruce) Fields were held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026  at Quaker Cemetery, Camden.  Rev. Clint Ellis officiated.  Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1201 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Bruce passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.  Born in Buffalo, SC, he was the son of the late Homer Wayne Fields and the late Ethel Gainey Fields.  Bruce was the husband of Beatrice Hough Fields.

In addition to his wife of 76 years, Bruce is survived by his son, Wayne Fields (Joyce) of Camden; daughter, Carrie Boyce (Ronnie) of Camden; grandchildren, Jason Fields, Casey Fields, Ryan Fields, Matthew Boyce, Daniel Boyce, and Christie Boyce; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Bruce was predeceased by his son, Craig Fields and daughter-in-law, Beth Fields.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
