Carl Edward Short

Carl Edward Short, son of the late Bert Short, Jr. and Margaret Gregory Short, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024.

Eddie is survived by his daughter, Susan Short Jackson of Lugoff; son, Brian Short (Dawn) of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, Tyler Jackson, Tanner Jackson, Arielle Short, Alexis Short, Gage DiMarco, and Mason Short; great-grandchild, Evie Marie Lane; significant other, Rebecca Brown; sisters, Charlotte Brown, Phyllis Cook, and Freda Aliff; and brothers, Dickie Short and Timothy Short.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was predeceased by his sister, Frances Conley, and brother, Leon Short.

Memorials may be made to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) in honor of  Eddie Short, PO Box 167, Columbia, SC 29202.
