Cynthia, daughter of the late Charles Hazel Myers, Sr. and Lou Clyburn Myers, died on Sunday, December 8, 2024. She was the wife of Donald Burton Miller.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of 58 years; children, Yvonne Miller Vaughn (Sean) and Dan Miller, both of Elgin; grandchildren, Alyssa Maner (Chris), Kayla Brimson (Robbie), and Hannah Thomley; step-grandchildren, Jamey Vaughn (Brenna), Nathan Vaughn (Shelby) and Abbe Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Ford, Keegan, Tate, and Charlotte; and brother, Maxie Craig Myers.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia was predeceased by her brothers, Charles Hazel Myers, Jr., and John Sowell Myers.

Known as Cynthia, Mama, Grandma, and most recently Grandma Great, Cynthia ran her house with a love that spilled over for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved anything that kept her busy; gardening, crafting, or finding anything that needed fixing. She was known to be a jack of all trades. While Don was working outside the home to provide for the family, she took care of most home repairs and enhancements herself. She inherited the knack to fix anything from her dad. Cynthia loved to take road trips with her family, mostly to the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway. She also had a love for music, enjoying many different genres. She kept everyone in check with her quick-witted humor and fun stories. It didn’t matter if in good times or bad, somehow every interaction with her you were sure to be laughing, and more likely than not, talking about it later and laughing again.  Cynthia would have moved mountains to help those she loved up until the very end. She is “On the Road Again,” on her biggest, best adventure yet. We are so blessed to have been loved by her!

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
