David M. Pugh

David Michael Pugh, 83, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was the son of the late Robert Allen Pugh and Janice Blum Pugh.  Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association at heart.org.

David (Dave) was born and raised in the Washington DC area.  He lived in Florida for over 25 years before settling in South Carolina.  He was young at heart, fun, loving, and always ready for an adventure.  Dave cherished his family and his legacy.  His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought much joy to his life.  He delighted in making friends and sharing his passion for his many hobbies throughout his life.  He will forever be in our hearts.

David is survived by his wife of 29 years, Roberta Sue Hudson Pugh; daughters, Theresa Ritaldato (Eugene) of Miami, FL, and Janice Miller (Tony) of Zebulon, NC;  son, Jason Williams (Cecilia), of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren, Jason, Eric, Melissa, Katie, Anthony, Gina, Paul, Jason and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Liam, Adalyn, Raegan, Ryder, Ava, Max, Anthony, Lillian, Elizabeth, and Julia; sister, Carol Anne Jones (Elmer) of Reston, VA; and brothers, Robert Allen Pugh (Thei) of Tucson, AZ and William Lawrence “Larry” Pugh (Darlene) of Woodbine, MD.

In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his son, Michael David Pugh.

A memorial service will be held in Maryland at a later date.
