Debra Elaine Rushing Bowers

A funeral service for Debra Elaine Rushing Bowers, 69, of Cassatt, will be held at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM. Rev. Iva Mae Long will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Gum Springs Holiness Church Cemetery.

Debra died Sunday, May 16, 2021. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Jack “Pop” and Bobbie Holley Rushing. Debra was a member of Gum Springs Holiness Church,and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Gayloyd Bowers; children, Gennifer B. Williams (Brock) and David Hall (Shawn); step-sons, Kenneth Bowers (Correen) and Richard Bowers (Wendie); grandchildren, Davin, Haydin, Easley, David J., Rachel, Aaron, Shiann, and Samantha; and brother, Chip Rushing (Patty).

In addition to her parents, Debra was predeceased by her brother, Ricky Holley.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
