Donald W. Fulmer

A private funeral service to celebrate the life of Donald Walter Fulmer, 72, of Elgin, SC, will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Pastor Connie Barnes will officiate. A graveside committal will follow at 2:00pm at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, 11020 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC. The public is invited to attend the graveside committal. Donald died December 11, 2020. He was born in Columbia, SC, the son of the late Alfred Rhett and Doris Miles Fulmer. Donald served in the Marines in Vietnam and was the recipient of the purple heart and the bronze star.

Donald is survived by his wife of 35 years, Belinda Rhyner Fulmer; son, Christopher Lee Miller (Liz), of West Columbia; daughters, Breann Leigh Dillon (Mark), of Elgin and Bridget Clarke, also of Elgin; sister, Jean Hodge (Bill), of Camden and brothers, Rhett Fulmer, of Camden and Dale Fulmer (Virginia), of Elgin; and his beloved four-legged friend JB.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
