Doris Nell Branham Weir

Graveside funeral services for Doris Nell Branham Weir, 90, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Quaker Cemetery, 713 Meeting Street, Camden.  Rev. John Hallman will officiate.  A visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:30 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.  Memorials may be made to Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 502 E. Nell passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024.  She was born in Winnsboro, SC, the daughter of the late Mack and Ollie Easler Branham.  Nell was a former district office administrator for the Kershaw County School District for 25 years.  She was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church, loved planting flowers in her yard, and loved vacationing in the mountains. 

Nell is survived by son, William Rawlings “Chip” Weir, Jr. (Annette), of Camden, and sister, Shelby Caddell (Jimmy), of Washington, GA.

Other than her parents and husband, William Rawlings Weir, Sr., Nell was predeceased by her sister, Thelma Cotton, and brother, Grady Branham.
