Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10
Our mother, Dorothy Jo (Dot) Sewell Newman, was the epitome of Proverbs 31:10. Born February 2, 1928 in Nocona, Texas to Mary Jo and Lee Crawford Sewell, she was saved by the grace of Jesus at age eleven. One of her greatest joys was working with special needs adults in the JOY class of First Baptist, which she continued until age 92.

Dr. Ben Newman Jr (Shirley), and Kenny Newman (Miriam); 10 grandchildren: Brett Ives (Lori), Lindsie Hatfield (Charles), Harriet Jennings (Dell), Kristen Huff (Matt), Elise Hatfield (Bobby), Jeremy Newman (Megan), Bryan Newman (Jessica), Matthew Newman (Jennifer), Ryan Newman, Neco Barnes (Shelley); and 20 great-grandchildren.
