Frances Boone

Funeral Services for Frances Morris Boone will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, 1139 Highway 1 South, Lugoff.  Pastor Robert Fekete will officiate.  Visitation will be held after the service.  Interment will be held at 1:00 PM at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seventh Day Adventist Missionary Ministry, c/o Seventh Day Adventist Church, 612 Boykin Road, Camden, SC 29020.

Frances, daughter of the late Lloyd James Morris and Effie Harris Morris, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was the widow of Harold Lee Boone.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Karen Dodge of Elgin; sons, Edward Birckhead of Madison, VA, Clint Birckhead (Carol) of Charlottesville, VA, Mark Birckhead (Penny) of Fulton, NY, and Daniel Birckhead (Mary) of Louisa, VA.; 18 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was predeceased by her sisters, Evelyn Moore, Nancy Snead, and Doris Simms; brother, Lloyd James Morris, Jr.; and son-in-law, Frank C. Dodge, Jr.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
