Funeral services for Frances Polson Griswold will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Malvern Hill Baptist Church, 1514 Malvern Hill Drive, Camden, SC. Burial in the church cemetery will follow. Reverend Buster Morris will officiate. Visitation with family will be held from 12:00-1:00 PM at Malvern Hill Baptist. Memorials may be made to Malvern Hill Baptist Church.
Frances, daughter of the late Norah Tidwell Polson and Charles Lowman Polson, died on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Frances was the widow of the late Clyde Laverne Griswold.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Angie Williams (Ronnie) of Camden; daughter-in-law, Kim Griswold of Clarksville, GA; grandchildren, W. Ronald “Trey” Williams III (Lauren), twins: Ryan Williams (Jamie) and Reyna Herba (Brannon), twins: Sarah Williams and Stephen Williams, twins: Norah Griswold and Virginia Griswold; great-grandchildren, Kierstyn Herba, Abigail Herba, Elise Williams, and Julia Williams; brother, Franklin “Buster” Polson (Brenda) of Camden; and sisters-in-law, Mary “Bobbye” Polson and Margarette Polson, both of Camden; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was predeceased by her son, Milton Griswold; sisters, Stella Pritchard, Bernice Polson, Martha Maddox, Barbara Horton, and Jackie Lee; and brothers, John Woodrow Polson, Charles Lowman “C.L.” Polson, Jr., Alvo Polson, and John L. Polson.
