Graveside services to celebrate the life of Henry Thomas Bass, 70, will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. 

Henry Thomas Bass died on March 1, 2024.  He was the son of the late Wallace Herman and Nellie McClain Bass.  Henry served in the United States Army.

Henry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rita Taylor Bass, of Bethune; stepson, Michael Daniel Bass, of Cassatt; brothers, Wayne Herman Bass (Winnie), of Cassatt, and James Heward Bass (Catherine), of Cassatt and his half-sister, Nellie Jean Walker (Richard), of Winnsboro.

Henry was predeceased by brothers, Allen Wallace Bass, Arnold Edward Wooten, and Charles Marion Wooten; and nephews, Phillip Anthony Bass and Wayne Herman Bass.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
