Irene Zahradnik

A memorial service for Lillian Irene Hatfield Zahradnik will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Harmony Baptist Church, 998 Tookie Doo Lane, Elgin, SC 29045.  Pastor Ray Lowe will officiate.  Visitation with family will occur in the Fellowship Hall after the service.  Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross at redcross.org/donate or Harmony Baptist Church.

 Irene, age 92, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Born in Sumter, SC, she was the daughter of the late Guy Lloyd Hatfield and Lillian Allean Russell Hatfield.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Arlene Kelly Watts (Thomas) of Elgin; son, Jason Alan Kelly of Missouri; grandchildren, Timothy Wayne Watts, Jeffery Adam Watts, and Melissa Amber Watts; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Irene was predeceased by her brothers, Guy Lloyd Hatfield, Jr. and John Russell Hatfield.
