James Edward McGowan

James Edward McGowan passed away on Tuesday March 23rd, 2021. He is survived by his sons Jimmy, John, and Eric; his daughters Jenn, Erin, and Erica; his wives Dale and Karen; his brother Tommy; his Aunt Anita; his grandchildren Mary Katherine, Jacob, James, Virginia, Jake, Daniel, Patrick, Spencer, and Bryn; his nieces Kathy and Cherie and his nephew Eddie. He is survived by countless friends, fellow soldiers and comrades. Please remember him as you knew him for that’s what he’d want.

Donations in Jim’s name can be made to the Special Forces Association at www.specialforcesassociation.org. A remembrance drop-in will be held at 1309 Mill Street, Camden, SC on June 26th, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
