A graveside service to celebrate the life of James Melvin Pollard, 86, of Camden, will be held at Wateree Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Taylor Wells will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648.
James died Friday, January 22, 2021. Born in Hickory Tavern SC, he was the son of the late Alberta Pollard, and husband of the late Frances Ervin “Frankie” Pollard. He was a lifetime welder, and a member of Wateree Baptist Church.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
