Jane Owen Unsworth

Memorial services for Jane Owen Unsworth, 76, will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, 914 Market St., Camden, SC, 29020. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:45 AM, at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church.  Memorials may be made to the Dementia Society of America at dementiasociety.org

Jane died on Thursday, December 18, 2025.  Formerly of Camden, Jane was born in Goldsboro, NC, the daughter of the late Bill Owen, Jr., and the late Nan Robertson Owen. 

She was a former member and choir member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Jane was a lover of beach music, shagging, Gamecock football, all babies (especially hers), and puppy dogs. She enjoyed great laughs with friends and family, ice cold Coca-Cola and singing with her girlfriends on any makeshift stage. Jane was also renowned for her easy laugh, infectious smile and the best broccoli casserole.

Jane is survived by her children, Chip Unsworth,of Lugoff, Nandy Unsworth, of Charleston, Josh Unsworth (Janie),of Lugoff; grandchildren, Cate, Brianna, Braylen, Molly, Mattie, Izzy; nieces, Catherine and Polly, and nephew, Will.

Other than her parents, Jane was predeceased by her brother, Dr. Larry Owen, III.
