Jeffery Glenn Johnson passed away peacefully at his home in Lugoff, South Carolina, on Monday, June 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Glenn fought a courageous battle and was blessed with precious additional time with family and friends through the exceptional care, compassion, and dedication of his medical and oncology team at MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center in Camden, South Carolina. His strength, determination, and positive spirit were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Above all else, Glenn was a loving and dedicated father. His daughters were the pride of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He led by example, teaching them the values of hard work, kindness, resilience, and love. They could always count on him for guidance, support, and a listening ear. His greatest accomplishment was not what he achieved in life, but the family he loved so deeply and the legacy of love he leaves behind in his daughters and their families.

Whether gathered around a table he had carefully prepared or setting off on a new adventure, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm and gratitude. He loved to cook, finding happiness in bringing people together through food, laughter, and conversation. Generous by nature and giving from the heart, he was always ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or share what he had. He approached life with passion, gave his all in everything he did, and lived each day to its fullest. His adventurous spirit, kind soul, and unwavering love for family and friends will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.

His brothers and sisters were a constant source of love and support, and he deeply valued the time they shared together. Spending time sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying each other's company, he treasured those family gatherings.

Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years, Nancy Johnson; his parents, Murray S. Johnson Jr. and Mary “Lena” Johnson of Ranger, Georgia; and his sister, Maggie Faye Fields of Oakman, Georgia.

He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Dailey and Steve Hetzel of West Palm Beach, Florida; Brenda and Roger Rhoads of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and Elizabeth and Ronnie DiFonzo of Lake Worth, Florida. He also leaves behind his cherished fur babies, Tink and Mollie.

Glenn is also survived by his siblings: Jim and Dee Blanco of Blairsville, Georgia; Joe and Carol Johnson of Pelham, Georgia; Howard Johnson and Robin McInnis of Pineville, Louisiana; Lee Roy and Marie Johnson of Fairmount, Georgia; Mike and Carrie Johnson Christmas of Calhoun, Georgia; and Stacy and Bert Ferro of Florida. Sister-in-laws: Judy Johnson of Columbia, South Carolina; Beth Holscher in Cocoa Beach, Florida; Doris Allen in Rockledge, Florida and his brother-in-law, Wayne Streator of Ohio.

Glenn leaves behind a loving legacy through his seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, the memories he created, the love he shared, and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends. His life was a testament to love, generosity, perseverance, and the importance of embracing every moment. He lived well, loved deeply, and leaves a legacy that will endure for generations to come.

The family has entrusted Kornegay Funeral Home in Camden, South Carolina with final arrangements. A celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled at a later date.
