Jeff passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Billy R. Wilson and Louine Raley Wilson. Jeff and his parents served the people of Kershaw County at the Dusty Bend Country Gardens, Wilson’s Deli, and Magnolia Restaurant for a combined total of 28 years. He was an avid Gamecock fan. He also loved hunting and fishing, especially turkey hunting. One of his greatest pleasures was coaching little league baseball and watching a great group of boys grow not only in the sport but watching them grow up into the greatest men.
He was also the biggest “Dance Dad” and “Cheerleading Dad” to the girls that he called “his girls” and now beautiful women. He cherished the lifelong love, support and memories with his brother Mitch, and his wife, Karen, as well as his sister, Christy, and her husband, Burton.
But the biggest treasures of his life were not only his wife, Rhonda, but also his children, Josh and Ashli along with his daughter-in-law, Sarah, and son-in-law, Jared. His three grandchildren, Caroline, Wren, and Reeves, were the sunshine of his life and always brought a smile to his face.
He will be greatly missed and leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories for his family.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rhonda Morris Wilson; daughter, Ashli W. Smith (Jared); son, Josh Wilson (Sarah); grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Wren Wilson, and Reeves Wilson; sister, Christy Gainey (Burton); brother, Mitch Wilson (Karen); niece, Hannah; nephews, Chase, Luke, and Hunter; and mother-in-law, Lowrance D. Morris.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was predeceased by his father-in-law, Ronnie Morris; brother-in-law, Chet Morris; and grandparents, Frank and Alma Wilson and Luke and Thelma Raley.
The family would like to thank VIA Health Partners Hospice Care and Daniel Christenberry for their compassion, care and support.
