Joseph Sylvester Williamson

Funeral Services for Joseph Williamson, 83, will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, 1139 Highway 1 South, Lugoff, SC. Burial at Quaker Cemetery will follow.  A visitation will be at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel.

Joseph Sylvester Williamson passed away on August 16, 2024.  He was born in Loris, SC, the son of the late John Duncan and Blanche Fowler Williamson.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eula Mae Hewitt Williamson; daughters, Sylvia Deeann Wooten (Carl), of Lugoff, Wendy Gail Williamson (Jonathan Nicholson), of Columbia; grandchildren, Jeremy Wooten, Megan LeGrand, Cain Beauchemin, and Brooke Atkinson; great-grandchildren, Owen, Etta, Gunner, Jack Henry, Cruze, Finley, and Evelyn; sisters, Barbara Small (Marion), Wanda Grainger (John), and brothers, Harold Williamson, Ronnie Williamson and Dan Williamson.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
