June Hayes Threatt

A funeral service to celebrate the life of June Delores Hayes Threatt, 66, of Sharon, will be held at 2:00 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Burial will follow the service at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Jason Robbins will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to her funeral service, from 12:30 – 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

June died Saturday, February 6, 2021. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Lee Hayes and Charlie Granger Clyburn, and wife of the late Horace Kenneth Threatt, Jr. June retired from McDonald’s where she worked as a biscuit maker; one year winning the Biscuit Bowl. She was a long time member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, but in recent years attended Kingdom Church.

She is survived by her children, Mickey Threatt of West Columbia, Milissa Snow of Wedgefield, Tina Reed (Jesse) of Sharon, Amanda Threatt-Jones (Will) of Myrtle Beach, Rubina McCathern of Hartsville, Pam Aljarrah (Rai'd) of Kansas City, MO , and a plethora of other heart children to include Amanda Nicholas of Orma, WV, and Lori Pyle of Myrtle Beach;; grandchildren, Michael Allen “Bubba” Threatt (Chanda), Kenneth “Kenny” Threatt (Sarah), Kelsey Threatt (John), Kristin Threatt (Demi), Sean Hayes, Michael Brandon Medina, Amber Lynn Medina, Lil Will Jones, Jr, Sammy Perry, Maddie Perry, Nolan Carpenter, Gage Rogers, Gavin McCathern, Emily McCathern, Faith Pyle, and Big Shawn Ballard; great grandchildren, Skyelar, Athena, Dillon, Amy, and Noah; sisters, Christal Jones of Columbia, Melody Lundy (Vic) of Charlottesville, VA, Lori Grant of Barnwell, Theresa Clyburn of Lancaster, and Barbara Berry (Joe) of Saluda. June had a special place in her heart for the Hayes/Rowland kids. She is also survived by her best friend of 40 years Kat Jackson and her beloved dog, Deuce.

In addition to her parents and husband, June was predeceased by great-grandson, Jordin Mosley, and brothers, Charles Hayes, Danny Hayes, Terry Hayes.
