Kenneth Wayne Hinson

Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne Hinson will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, 1112 Fair Street, Camden. Pastor Michael Thomas will officiate.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Damascus United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4142 Damascus Church Road, Westville, SC 29175.  Memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Humane Society, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020.

Wayne, son of the late   William C. Hinson, Jr, and Ophelia Brown Hinson Long,  passed away on June 4, 2025. 

Wayne is survived by his children, Kevin Hinson (Jennifer) of Tampa, Angela Hinson Gott (Michael) of Elgin, Talmage Hinson (Cynthia) of Charleston, Ashley Sanders (Patrick) of Camden, and Alex Singelton (Cassie) of Camden; grandchildren, Lola, Lane, Kit, Chandler Nevaeh, McKinley, Elouese, Sunny, Mills, Coker, Sailor, Clark, Gunner; Great-grandchild, Amelia; brother, Skeeter Hinson of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, and sister, Myra Rogers (Joe) of N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Glenda Singleton.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
