Leslie Dennis Huntley

A graveside funeral service for Leslie Dennis Huntly, 63, of Elgin, will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at High Hill Truelight Church Cemetery. Pastor Mark Hopkins will conduct the service. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Dennis died Sunday, June 27, 2021. Born in Bishopville, he was the son of the late Henry Leslie and Nettie Bramlett Huntley. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman, with a love for hunting and fishing. He was a welder by trade.

He is survived by his only child, Megan Lynn Huntley, and her fiancée, Ty Tallant, of Columbia.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Huntly Hardin, and brother, Bobby Hugh Huntley.

The family would like to thank the thoughtful and fine attention of Van and the other medical professionals of Prisma Health who helped both Dennis and the family.
