Mary Boan

Funeral services for Mary Catherine Reeves Boan will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Kornegay Funeral Home, 1112 Fair Street, Camden, SC.  Rev. Patrick Cherry will officiate.  Burial at Quaker Cemetery will follow.  Visitation with family will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org/sc.

Mary, wife of Howard Walker Boan, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Born in Camden, Mary was the daughter of the late Wallace Robert Reeves, Jr. and Mary Elva Hicks Reeves.

Other than her husband, Mary is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Roller White (Steven) of Irmo and Catherine Roller Herrington of Greer; son, James Albert Roller, Jr. (Heather) of Mt. Pleasant; step-daughter, Beth Boan O’Neal (Jimmy) of Cheraw; grandchildren, Danielle Lollis, Summer Lollis, Christian Roller, Chelsea Roller, Camden Roller, Jessica Herrington Rogers, Bill Herrington, Austin Herrington, Richard Evans, Alexandra Evans, and Jacob Evans; great-grandchildren, Bethany, Trevin, Emerson, Spencer, Riley, James William, Christian, Jr., Saige, Sullivan, Jackson, Ivy, Landon, and Barrett;  and the father of her children, James Albert Roller.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Moody and Alice Team, and her brother, Mickey Reeves, III.
