Shane passed away on July 12, 2026. He was a man of quiet strength, remembered for his deep love of family and his strong spirit.
For many years, Shane shared his life with his partner, Debbie. A talented craftsman, Shane co-owned a home renovation and handicapped accessibility business with his brother, Markell. Through their partnership, Shane took great pride in building safety and independence for those who needed it most.
Shane had a natural, patient way with both children and animals, who were instinctively drawn to his warm presence. When the tools were put away, he found his greatest peace on the water, casting a line and enjoying the quiet of a good day fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Loretta Kistler, his father, George Kistler, his partner, Debbie, his brothers, Markell and Dale; and a large, loving extended family, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda and his step-mother, Susie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
