Penny Lehotsky

Memorial services for Penny Renee Shirey Lehotsky will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, 1112 Fair Street, Camden. Bishop Eric Sandberg will officiate.  A luncheon will be held at 2:30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Camden Ward, 34 Chestnut Ferry Road, Camden.

Penny passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.  Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of Kathy Beckom Shirey and the late James Thomas “Tuffy” Shirey.   Penny was a Christian with a  kind soul and a big heart. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved listening to music.

In addition to her mother, Penny is survived by her son, Ethan Lehotsky; sister, Carissa Shirey Jensen; niece, Ada Jensen; nephew, Tobias Jensen (Aubrey); along with many aunts and uncles.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
