Phillip Carey Obituary

Phillip James Carey, age 49, passed away suddenly Sunday, October 17, 2021. The son of Charles P. Carey and the late Mary Carey, Phillip was an occupational therapy graduate of Utica College and served in the United States Army Reserves.

Surviving are his son, Sean Carey; father and step-mother, Paula D. Carey, of Yorkville, NY; brothers, Michael Carey, James Van Valkenburgh, and Donald Van Valkenburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is assisting the family.
