Prentiss Cook

A memorial service to celebrate the life of William Prentiss Cook will be held at 11:00 AM  on  Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, 1112 Fair Street.  Rev. Everett Reconnu will officiate. Visitation with family and friends will immediately follow the service.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (South Carolina) at cancer.org/about-us/local/south-carolina.html.

Prentiss died on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Born in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Lawrence Cook and the late Toni Prentiss Partridge.    William was a graduate of St. Andrews High School in Charleston and was a former restaurant owner in Camden.

Prentiss is survived by several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his uncle, Billy Silver.
