Richard Miller

Richard Allen Miller, 86, of Camden, SC passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Richard was born July 10, 1939, in Effingham, SC to his father Roy Miller and mother Louise Wilson.

Richard was a devoted husband to Brenda Miller for 63 years, marrying on December 24, 1961.  Together they raised three children: John Miller (Linda), Paulette Kelly (Jabari), and Ryan Miller (Khalilah).  He was a proud grandfather to Kaleb Riley and Reis Miller.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Caswell Arthur Miller and Janice Miller.

A faithful member of the East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Camden, SC, having been baptized on June 1, 1957.  Richard found joy and purpose in his spiritual family. 

He will be remembered for all his labors in behalf of the congregation. 

His faith and his hope for the future were rooted in the name of his father, Jehovah, found in Psalms 83:18, which he fearlessly shared with all.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 5PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Camden, SC.
