Ricky Mauro

Memorial services to honor the life of  Ricky Lee Mauro, will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025,  at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff Chapel, 1139 Highway 1 South, Lugoff.   Reverend David Stratford, III will officiate. 

Ricky, son of George Raymond Murphy and Joan Berry Murphy, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025.   He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Audrey Shannon Mauro; children, Shannon Mauro, of Lugoff, Jessica Mauro, of Camden, Nicole Mauro, of Lugoff, and Jay Mauro Harlacher, of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Audriana Mauro, Tatiyana Banks, Greyson Mauro, Julian Banks, Hayden Mauro, Gianni Mauro, and Jayliana Mauro.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Kevin Mauro (Debbie), of Snohomish, WA; mother-in-law, Elfriede Shannon; sisters-in-law, Linda Causey (John), and  Lisa Sury (Mark); and his four-legged best friend, Milo.

Ricky was predeceased by sister-in-law, Viola Krieger (Ralph), and brother-in-law, Charles Shannon (Randi).

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
