Stephanie Diane Gladden

A graveside funeral service to celebrate the life of Stephanie Diane Gladden, 76, of Manning, will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Clarendon County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, PO Drawer 40, Manning, SC 29102.

Stephanie died Sunday, July 18, 2021. Born in Rock Hill, she was the daughter of the late J. Presley Gladden and Stella Margaret Hovis Cole.

She is survived by her nieces, Rhonda Woods (Danny) of Goose Creek, Marguerite Platt (Robin) of Goose Creek, Bethany Platt of Goose Creek, and Ashley Silva (Doug) of Jacksonville, FL; great-nieces Melody Woods and Isabel Vannoy, both of Goose Creek.

In addition to her parents, Stephanie was predeceased by her sister, Cheryl Lynn Platt, and her step-father, Wilburn R. Cole.

The family extends gratitude to the Clarendon County Disabilities and Special Needs Board for their care of Stephanie these past several years, notably Ryan, Tammy, Betty, and the staff of Vanguard II. Additionally, the family appreciates the compassion of White Oak of Charleston and Hospice of Charleston in Stephanie’s final days.
