Sylvia McManus Harold

Funeral services for Sylvia Harold, 87, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.  Rev. Phillip Gerrald will officiate.  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1201 Broad Street, Camden, SC or www.firstbaptistcamden.org or MUSC Hospice, Highway 1 S., Suite 400, Lugoff, SC 29078.

Sylvia McManus Harold passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.  She was born in Camden, SC, the daughter of the late W.C. and Margaret Evelyn Branham McManus.  Sylvia was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church, with 20+ years with the First Baptist Children’s 2nd grade Sunday School.  She was also a volunteer for 20+ years with Hospice.

Sylvia is survived by her sisters, Elaine M. Brown (Huey), of Camden, Iris M. Slipper, of Stevensville, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents and her husband, C. Otto Harold, Sylvia was predeceased by her siblings, Richard “Dickie” McManus, Rebecca M. Trapp, Carolyn M. Davenport, and Marilyn M. Revis.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of The Legacy of Camden for the love and care they gave to Sylvia during her stay.
