Teresa Cannella Sorrentino passed away on August 5, 2024. She was born in Bayonne, NJ, the daughter of the late Salvatore Cannella and Anna Kulik Cannella. She was the widow of Joseph Francis Sorrentino.
Teresa is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Sorrentino Cox and Terri Sorrentino Horton (Robert), both of Camden; son, Joseph Anthony Sorrentino (Lynn) of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Jason Cox of Camden, Christian Cox (Lindsey) of Ocala, FL, Meghann Cox of Camden, Michael Horton (Amber) of Greer, SC, Daniel Horton (Ashley) of Greenville, SC, Natalie Horton of Camden, Joseph Anthony Sorrentino II (Lissy) of Ocala, FL, Dante Sorrentino (Trish) of Tampa, FL, Anthony Sorrentino (Leslie) of Durham, NC, and Rachel Sorrentino of Ocala, FL; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Tristan, Hanna, Makayla, Kylie, Kinley, Jessica (Eli), Joseph III, Mateo, Nicolas, Michael and Amelia; great-great-grandchild, Aurora Granger; and sisters, Odelia Federocko of Mt. Arlington, NJ, Betty Ann Ross (Allen) of Wilmington, NC and Colette Rogers (Robert) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Other than her parents and her husband, Teresa was predeceased by her son-in-law Richard Cox and great-grandchild, Olivia Cox.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thank you to the hospital staff at MUSC Kershaw Health and also to the staff of Karesh Long Term Care for the love they gave our mother for the last year of her life.
