Funeral services for Viola Faile Boone, 101, will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the First Church of the Nazarene of Camden, 2276 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, SC. Rev. Amanda Watts will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 - 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
Viola passed away Friday, December 20, 2024. The daughter of the late John Faile and Bertha Wilson. She was a charter member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Camden where she taught Sunday school for over 40 years. Her goal in life was to take care of her”GRANDchildren”.
Viola is survived by her sister, Barbara Jean Horne and her special daughter-in-law, Dorothy Motley. Nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Viola was predeceased by her husband, Gussie A. Boone; children, Charles Alexander Boone, Lois Jeanette Boone Branham, Ronald Eugene Boone, and Jerry Hampton Boone; siblings, Lillie Mae Catoe, Jessie Cole, Ada Faile, Alice Croft, Leslie Faile, and Leroy Faile.
