Wade, son of Randall McAllister and the late Elizabeth Anne Thrower McAllister, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 after a lengthy battle with PKD. Wade loved hunting, fishing and a good day at the gym. He enjoyed working on his bikes and cooking for his friends and family. His day was made if he could get his hands on a good steak burrito. He enjoyed football (Roll Tide!) and found renewed interest in wrestling watching his grandson's wrestling tournaments each weekend. Wade was charismatic and humorous. His smile and laughter will be greatly missed.
In addition to his father, Wade is survived by his daughter, Amber Colello (Anthony) of St. Mary’s, PA; and grandsons, Jackson and Tucker.
In addition to his mother, Wade was predeceased by his brother, Jim McAllister.
Graveside funeral services to honor the life of Wade Anthony McAllister will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia. Military Honors will be rendered by the US Marine Corps. Rev. Mark Hopkins will officiate. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors at support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
