Funeral services for Wanda Jeanette Brittain, 82, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Rev. Eric McAvoy will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Burial at Hardshell Cemetery will follow the funeral services.

Wanda passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. She was born in Augusta, GA, the daughter of the late Garvin Edgar and Carrie Leona Cushman Howard.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Angela McDaniel Sanders, of Cassatt, Jennifer B. Reece (Terapong), of Rembert; sons, William Joseph Brittain, Jr., of Columbia, David Wayne Brittain (Sarah), of Camden, and Kenneth Lee Brittain (Clydie) of Charleston; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and sisters, Judy Chandles and Margaret Neff.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by her husband, William Joseph Brittain, Sr.; daughter, Barbara Ann Hinson; and siblings, Elmo Howard, Betty McElhaney, and Helen Hinton.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
