William Edgar Crowe, Jr.

A private graveside service with military rites for Col. William Edgar Crowe, Jr., 72, will be held at Quaker Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation at 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY, 10306, or t2t.org.

William Crowe, Jr. was born May 26, 1952, in Kingston, NY to the late William Edgar and Doris Roach Crowe.  He was a 1974 graduate of the Citadel, he also graduated from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in 1994 and served in the United States Air Force until his retirement.

William is survived by his wife, Helen Vereen Crowe, of Columbia; son, Geoffrey Davis Crowe (Kelly Anne), of Aldie, VA; daughters, Dana Kiersted Burger (Matt), of Fredericksburg, VA, and Liz Ward Pierce (Rick), of Columbia; grandchildren, Pierson Crowe, Aston Crowe, Brielle Burger, Luke Burger, Marshall Pierce, and Mae Pierce.

Other than his parents, William was predeceased by his brothers, Michael Timothy Crowe and Ronald Olan Crowe.
