William “Bill” Franklin Ham, 90, son of the late Lillie Addie White Ham and Frank Lee Ham, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023.
Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marian Holley Ham; daughter, Holley Ham (Robbie Crayne); daughter-in-law, Robin Floyd; grandsons, Jacob Ham and Travis Ham; granddaughter, Cheyenne Boan; sisters, Frances Parnell and Peggy Gause; and brothers, Ronald Ham, Henry Hoffmeyer and Scott Hoffmeyer.
Bill graduated from Timmonsville High School in 1951 and from Clemson Agricultural College in 1955. He served two years in the Army and six years in the Reserves. He retired from PYA/Monarch in 1998. After retirement, Bill became an avid tennis player and formed a Tuesday morning tennis group in Camden. It is still in existence today and is now known as the Bill Ham Tennis Club.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his son, Billy Ham; brothers, Kent Ham and Conrad Hoffmeyer; and sister, Lucy Rhame.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cat Around Town Project, PO Box 1501, Camden, SC 29021.
