Billy Battles Obituary

Billy Wilson Battles, age 72, died on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was born in Athens, AL, the son of the late Robbie Cox Goforth and William Andrew Battles.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Janett Schafer (Scott) of Camden, Naomi Battles of Attala, AL, and Christy Borgersrode (Rudy) of Rainbow City, AL; son, David Battles (Melissa) of Woodbridge, VA; sister, Janet Davenport (Tommy) of Muscle Shoals, AL; and 13 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Billy was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Carpenter.
