Robert Campbell

On Thursday, June 25, 2020, Robert Campbell, 97, went to be with his wife, Agnes Campbell, and his daughter, Allisue Campbell Watkins and other loving family members. He was born in Chesterfield, SC, the son of the late Clarence Durant and Susie Thompson Campbell.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Darlene Campbell, of Columbia, SC, Sandra Campbell Bodiford (Glen), of Melbourne, FL; son-in-law, Wayne Watkins (Sylvia); granddaughters, Lorraine Chafin, of Lugoff, SC, Tamara Holland (Brett Higgins), of Elgin, SC, Kiersten Ross, of Camden, SC; step-granddaughters, Missy Peacock (Stanley), Kristen Bodiford; numerous great and great-great grandchildren and adopted family Sybil Brown, Nancy Brown, Patsy Watson (Buck), and Helen Arledge. He was very proud of Liza and her drive to become a doctor. He also greatly enjoyed his meetings with his “Saturday morning boys”, Buddy and Wendell.

A private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
